For a holiday, a weekend, for a professional trip or to visit a loved one hospitalized at the CHU, the tranquillity of this eco-house is appreciated by all. The wood-framed building has been entirely eco-designed to provide a cocoon of well-being and serenity.

Accessibility to the Chalet de Rozan
Rozan’s studio is PMR standards except for the kitchen and access to the garden which is complicated, given the slope.
People with reduced mobility will be comfortable in this comfortable and spacious space.
The little things to know about Rozan’s Studio before booking
We rarely had any comments to improve things in the studio but some elements that some might describe as small constraints:
- Parking is provided for a “standard” vehicle. The maneuver can be a bit complex with a Ferrari or a Van even if you have already had them!
- Despite appearances, we are in the city, in the metropolis of Grenoble. So there is a certain population density, although it is quite reasonable. So there may be mower noises, traffic, parties, but this is rather rare.
- The Chemin du coteau comes from old paths like most of the surrounding streets. So it’s a bit tortuous and even GPS sometimes have trouble finding their way around.
- We live in the house although the studio is in the independent wood frame part. You may hear our children in their rooms upstairs. Rest assured, they do not party in their rooms, but the wood cracks a little even if they are careful.
- The terrace is surrounded and dominated by a tree whose shade is precious in summer. We try to trim it to disturb the view of the mountains as little as possible. If this is not enough, you have access to all the other shaded or sunny terraces of the property.
Eco-responsible tourism together
The Chalet de Rozan is designed to reduce our footprint on the environment and we really appreciate the involvement of our customers in this process.
- The shower and household products available are homemade, ecological and rechargeable.
- Let’s try together to limit waste and respect selective sorting. A composter is available as well as the chicken coop.
- The heating for a comfort temperature limited to 19 ° allows a reasonable consumption and follows the recommendations of the WHO. Please do not change the setting too much.
- Several towels are available but their use wisely reduces water consumption.
- We do not have air conditioning but we work to reduce heat by natural methods with shaded spaces, thermal blinds, fans, suitable vegetation, etc.
- In general, water saving measures are in force in our department all year round. The garden is exclusively watered with rainwater and occasionally with the overflow of the neighborhood fountain. Let’s try to save it.
- Travel from the chalet can be done in soft mobility. Buses, trams, DOT electric bikes. The hypercenter of Grenoble is 9 minutes by bus (16 or 62), 2 tram stations. The Massif de Chartreuse is served by bus 62 and hitchhiking is quite common if you missed it.
