The charm of the mountain just minutes from the city centre. The studio is independent, bright and very functional. It has a shady terrace facing the mountains and overlooking our alpine garden and organic pond.
For a holiday, a weekend, for a professional trip or to visit a loved one hospitalized at the CHU, the tranquillity of this eco-house is appreciated by all. The wood-framed building has been entirely eco-designed to provide a cocoon of well-being and serenity.

Accessibility to the Chalet de Rozan
Rozan's studio is PMR standards except for the kitchen and access to the garden which is complicated, given the slope.
People with reduced mobility will be comfortable in this comfortable and spacious space.
The little things to know about Rozan's Studio before booking
We rarely had any comments to improve things in the studio but some elements that some might describe as small constraints:
- Parking is provided for a "standard" vehicle. The maneuver can be a bit complex with a Ferrari or a Van even if you have already had them!
- Despite appearances, we are in the city, in the metropolis of Grenoble. So there is a certain population density, although it is quite reasonable. So there may be mower noises, traffic, parties, but this is rather rare.
- The Chemin du coteau comes from old paths like most of the surrounding streets. So it's a bit tortuous and even GPS sometimes have trouble finding their way around.
- We live in the house although the studio is in the independent wood frame part. You may hear our children in their rooms upstairs. Rest assured, they do not party in their rooms, but the wood cracks a little even if they are careful.
- The terrace is surrounded and dominated by a tree whose shade is precious in summer. We try to trim it to disturb the view of the mountains as little as possible. If this is not enough, you have access to all the other shaded or sunny terraces of the property.
Le tourisme éco-responsable ensemble
Le Chalet de Rozan est conçu pour réduire notre empreinte sur l'environnement et nous apprécions beaucoup l'implication de nos clients dans cette démarche.
- Les produits douche et ménagers mis à disposition sont faits maison, écologiques et rechargeables.
- Essayons ensemble de limiter les déchets et de respecter le tri sélectif. Un composteur est à disposition ainsi que le poulailler.
- Le chauffage pour une température de confort limitée à 19° permet une consommation raisonnable et de suivre les recommandations de l'OMS. Merci de ne pas trop modifier le réglage.
- Plusieurs serviettes vous sont proposées mais leur utilisation à bon escient permet de réduire la consommation d'eau.
- Nous n'avons pas de climatisation mais nous travaillons à réduire la chaleur par des méthodes naturelles avec des espaces ombragés, des stores thermiques, des ventilateurs, de la végétation adaptée, etc.
- De manière générale, des mesures d’économie d’eau sont en vigueur dans notre département toute l'année. Le jardin est exclusivement arrosé avec de l'eau de pluie et ponctuellement avec le trop plein de la fontaine du quartier. Essayons de l'économiser.
- Les déplacements depuis le chalet peuvent se faire en mobilité douce. Bus, tramway, vélos électriques DOT. L'hypercentre de Grenoble est à 9 minutes en bus (16 ou 62), 2 stations de tramway. Le Massif de Chartreuse est desservi par le bus 62 et l'autostop est tout à fait courant si vous l'avez loupé.
N'hésitez pas à nous demander conseil sur ces sujets, nous avons encore beaucoup de choses à faire pour améliorer et cela contribue au bien-être et à l'équilibre du lieu.
